I don't think I can even look at my tracers without starting a fire here. Maybe one day I'll get to use them...ddstuder wrote:I'm glad to hear a couple positive reviews!
I should have mine sometime this week, and just in time! I should have plenty of carbon scraping to do.
I went out very early this morning to my shooting spot, and put 300 rounds through my AR.
I even got to shoot a few tracer rounds in celebration of Independence Day!

Re: CAT M-4 Tool
I've never seen the G&G tool, but for the same money you can have the CAT M-4, which can also clean the bolt carrier. The G&G tool only cleans the bolt tail.EyeToEye wrote:Anyone ever compared the CAT M-4 to this tool http://www.gngtools.com/gngboltcleanerandpolisher.aspx ?
Here is a video on how the G&G tool works http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2M16c2EKFXs

Re: CAT M-4 Tool
I've also got one. It's cut my bolt/carrier cleaning time by at least 75%. It used to take me 20-30 minutes to get all the carbon off the bolt and carrier. Since I added the CAT to my process it takes 5-7 minutes.
