As mentioned, the IDPA rulebook says you can compete in 1 match before joining IDPA. As also mentioned, some clubs are kinda soft on this rule. Hot Hand warmers -one in each pocket will do the trick for most cold shoots. I've used the gloves on/off routine as well, but still like having the Hot Hands to help keep the fingers toasty.

Loading more than 10 rounds in a magazine can lead to a penalty in IDPA... To clarify even further on this topic... On stages that require "gun loaded to division capacity", you MUST load up to that capacity if your gun/mags will hold it. For example if you were shooting a Glock 17 in ESP...

The Match Director will make the final ruling on it, but I kinda doubt they will allow a bellyband type holster.
