Re: NRA Membership Upgrade - anyone else?

Re: TX. Teacher's rights to carry on campus.

I can just see the headlines now, "Teacher Shoots CHL Parent Mistaken as Gunman."

So exactly how is a teacher going to mistake an individual carrying concealed as a gunman? I believe concealed here is the key word. Using your logic it would be just as likely for a parent carrying concealed to ...

Re: TX. Teacher's rights to carry on campus.

Wow, what a lively debate!

I am all for teachers carrying on campus.

I must admit that I am for further training as well. Isn't the point of training to be better prepared than you were before? Aren't teachers constantly going through staff development to be come better teachers? Why wouldn't ...

It's finally here! :rolll :anamatedbanana :thewave :clapping: And it only took 115 days to get the plastic in hand!
I did find it odd that it is valid for four years seven months, until March of 2013. I thought they were only valid for a max of four years.

Re: Gun Safe for Car

I bought a truck vault from http://www.consolevault.com. It bolts down to the inside of the console and has the option to be a keyed or combo entry. It has good space inside it, as I've put a SA 9mm EMP and a 4" 1911 with enough space to probably fit something else inside. That may just be because ...

Re: Spitting Kimber

Well now, I've got to say that the Wolff recoil spring seemed to do the trick! I took it out to the range this weekend and didn't have ANY shells hitting me in the face! Also, it seemed to help with putting the slide into battery! I did however have three FTE's. All in all, I would recommend Wolff ...

Re: And the wait continues...

You might want to read, several times, the law; particularly, as it applies to concealed carry on or near school property.

Good luck.

I have read, re-read, and re-re-read the statutes regarding carrying on or near a school. With a CHL, as the other gentleman stated, I'm legal up to the school ...
