I can imagine them showing off the photos back home.bnc wrote:Great points, Andy.
When I was pistol shopping earlier this year at one range there were a few folks from Japan looking at the guns, taking pictures, & etc. They were there to rent them, but were obviously still enthralled by the novelty of it. So here they are taking pictures through the counter glass when the guy behind the counter says with good humor "You know, you're allowed to actually hold them, it will me for better pictures too." Next thing you know they were all geared out and posing like Charlie's Angels, and a European (Romanian or Hungarian, can't remember) couple there for the same purpose decided to join in. All of them looked like.
Hopefully these people will one day find firearms as commonplace as we do.

I wondered about that also, but considering the source as a UK article I am guessing that it means more of home-maker context than an appearance context.redlin67 wrote:If I were a woman, I would have an issue with this statement.
"many of the
women here are homely looking mothers"
Is the author saying that mostly only ugly women carry guns?

It is sad that Texas would not allow 19-year old Caitlin to OC due to her age and her failure to conceal.
The only statement in the article that annoyed me was towards the end:

Despite official government figures, the
pro-gun camp maintains that guns reduce
