Re: Fixed Blade Knives

That is a problem. If you want to see the others from CRKT that are James Williams, let me know and we can meet up when this calms down. The one I don’t have is the Sakimori. The others are NICE. The worse problem is that JW now makes his own knives and they are even nicer than the CRKT ones and app...

AR500 IFAK (medical kit) for sale ($80)

I received an AR500 IFAK as a gift for my birthday (I know, during the quarantine no less). Unfortunately it is not what I asked for and am listing it for sale. I have only opened to check contents, but even tags are still attached as seen in the pictures. https://www.ar500armor.com/medical/medical-...

Re: Ruger introduces PC Charger Pistol

Why not just get this if you want a rifle with a pistol grip. I see that it’s new as well https://ruger.com/products/pcCarbine/sp ... 19122.html

Re: Sig 210/P49

I actually have an American made Sig P210 target and it does shoot well. I would love to compare it to the original and can bring it with. If anyone is seriously considering getting one, I would be happy to meet you at a range and have you try it out. I wouldn’t mind trying an STI 2011 in 9mm or CZ ...

Sig 210/P49

I am looking to see if there is anyone in the DFW area, who 1) owns a Swiss Sig P-210 or P49 in 9mm and 2) would be willing to let me shoot it. I am happy to travel to your range and bring ammo (brass cased, factory) or alternatively you would be welcome to come to Dallas Pistol Club as my guest to ...

Re: RDS v. Iron Sights: Not just for old blind guys

I have a friend with a Shadow with a Holosun on it that I got to play with today. Can't say I like the sight at all, I was all over the board with it and my eye focus problem kept wanting to find the iron sights. At this time I will stick with my iron sights. Did they have a CZ Shadow 2? Milled the...

Re: Shadow Systems MR 918 Elite

That looks nice, but with a hefty price tag. PSA will have a G19 clone with supressor height sights, RDS plate cut and threaded barrel for 399, at least that was the news from SHOT. John Farnam is at the SHOT Show in Vegas and gave a positive review to a newer model Shadow Systems pistol, so I looke...

Re: Henry announces X Model Series

Henry - 17.4” barrel, 7 mag capacity, has pic rail and mloks on fore end.
Marlin - 16.25”, 8 rd mag, has XS rail and sights, sling, but no other attachment points on front.
I guess we’ll see what the street price will be for these and how they compare.

Re: Henry announces X Model Series

How would this compare to the Henry Dark 38/357 - https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/70412
That one already come with the XS rail and extra round capacity.

Got the actual quote today from S&W - $220 for the polish and reblue. Will have to think about this.

Revolver rust

I inherited a S&W 586 (no dash) that was unfortunately not well stored and has some rust spots on top, on side and in the cylinder. I tried to get it off with some Kroil soaks and brushing with nylon brushes. Looks a lot better, but still there. It did not have the “modification “ done, so it got se...

308 Semi Auto FAL Vs. AR

Hi all, I am looking to get some input as far as benefits of each platform, FAL vs. AR in 308, with respect to price. I have an FAL now (NOT DSA, CAI import I think) with quite a few magazines. I have not had a chance to shoot it much at all and am considering selling it to buy a Springfield Saint i...

Re: New CZ 75B SA

Looking at the Pro package done at the CGW shop, I am looking at $463 plus shipping there and back adding another $60. The benefit I see is that they "Hand polishe and professionally tune to your preference". The Pro kit if you install it is $301 plus shipping. So does the extra $200 and 10+ weeks w...

Re: New CZ 75B SA

No to hijack the thread, but many have commented on the CGW work on their CZs making a huge difference. Did you all buy the CGW parts and install yourselves or send the guns out to have them do work on it? Anyone have done both and can compare? Anyone have a Cajunized CZ 75 they would bring to DPC t...
