Revolver rust

I inherited a S&W 586 (no dash) that was unfortunately not well stored and has some rust spots on top, on side and in the cylinder. I tried to get it off with some Kroil soaks and brushing with nylon brushes. Looks a lot better, but still there. It did not have the “modification “ done, so it got se...

308 Semi Auto FAL Vs. AR

Hi all, I am looking to get some input as far as benefits of each platform, FAL vs. AR in 308, with respect to price. I have an FAL now (NOT DSA, CAI import I think) with quite a few magazines. I have not had a chance to shoot it much at all and am considering selling it to buy a Springfield Saint i...

Re: New CZ 75B SA

Looking at the Pro package done at the CGW shop, I am looking at $463 plus shipping there and back adding another $60. The benefit I see is that they "Hand polishe and professionally tune to your preference". The Pro kit if you install it is $301 plus shipping. So does the extra $200 and 10+ weeks w...

Re: New CZ 75B SA

No to hijack the thread, but many have commented on the CGW work on their CZs making a huge difference. Did you all buy the CGW parts and install yourselves or send the guns out to have them do work on it? Anyone have done both and can compare? Anyone have a Cajunized CZ 75 they would bring to DPC t...

I see that this model is discontinued now, where did you find it? Can you convert a da/sa one to Sa only? I found this one new on GunsAme...

Re: New CZ 75B SA

Nice looking gun. I have never shot a CZ, but have recently become interested in them. I see that this model is discontinued now, where did you find it? Can you convert a da/sa one to Sa only?

Re: .22 pistol choices

Yes, I'm hearing a few weeks to a month, too. Sure thing - http://quietbore.com/#!/Solvent-Traps/c/22034117/ There's a nice review over at SnipersHide on the .22 kit - https://forum.snipershide.com/threads/quietbore-22lr-titanium-suppressor-build-review-approved-form-1-required.6954719/ (hint - pay...

Re: .22 pistol choices

Very nice, QB :thumbs2: Andy that looks a the offspring of a 1911 and a STEN gun "rlol" Seriously however we need to tryout yours and my new Walther PPQ M2 22 together, soon. It's an odd-looking thing, for sure - and yes, we'll get together. I have a suppressor-kit arriving today - here we go with ...

Discount codes from NRA AM 2018

Hi All, Had a good time at the NRA AM, I mainly attended the lectures and did a bit of browsing through the vendors. I am sure I missed some great deals, but for those who did not make it, I wanted to pass on a few discount codes that some vendors had. If someone else has others, just reply below fo...

Re: AGL Defense ACT trigger review

If I recall correctly ALG defense is the sister company of Geissele triggers and makes lower cost triggers, for those that don't want to pay $200+ for their premium ones. They don't use the exact same tolerances or tools, but do a very good job.

Re: ammo on sale

Best 9mm ammo deal I have seen in a while - Remington has Black Friday $5 rebate for each 50rd box of UMC ammo. https://www.ammunitiondepot.com/916-remington-umc-9mm-115-grain-fmj.html 6.99/50rds of 9mm, Shipping on the 2000rd max for the rebate max ($200 max rebate) would be about $26, so about $50...

Re: Gun accidentally fired in Tarleton dorm room

I read about this too. A bit off topic question - here is the link for the story I saw http://www.khou.com/news/local/texas/texas-university-has-first-known-firearm-incident-since-campus-carry-started/319650131 - The picture associated with the article just looked wrong - Does this guys have his AK ...
