You pay for 911, whether or not you use it, don't you? In many cities where the police do alarm monitoring, its the same infrastructure that handles either 911 or other police calls that handle alarms, too.KD5NRH wrote:Free? Oh, you mean everybody had to pay for it, whether they had a monitored alarm or not. What a noble gesture on the city's part to force the entire population to pay for something only a few would use.
