Re: Two riot situations not yet addressed

The past few months, we've seen some excellent articles from attorneys and legal defense networks about the legal ramifications of responding to being caught in a riot, e.g. having your car surrounded, blocked from moving, etc. Obviously, you can't run over somebody just because they're blocking th...

Re: The independant nation of CHAZ

I'm pretty sure that these folks are just trying to get attention. But for the sake of argument, let's consider the "legitimacy" of their new government in the context of the Declaration of Independence (I'm assuming you mean the US one, not the Texas one). The underlying premise, borrowed from Loc...

Re: The independant nation of CHAZ

a bonafide model or precedent? NO. not on any basis whatsoever. anything and everything they are doing is in direct violation of the private property rights of the individuals living within that area for starters. and achieved that via having the illegitimate political power to engage in violence, n...

Re: First-Time Gun Buyers Explain How Coronavirus Changed Their Politics

even amongst these types of people that are buying a gun, it is an act of hypocrisy. They'll engage a civil right when it suits their purpose, the very same civil right they sought to deny or infringe on when it suited their purpose. It is not a result of them having 'seen the light' of truth, it i...

Re: First-Time Gun Buyers Explain How Coronavirus Changed Their Politics

Regardless of how you feel about them- USE THIS OPPORTUNITY to help convert them! Clearly some people didn't know how the laws in place worked and now have seen the light of day. Belittling them might cause them to revert back... a little compassion (something they are used to) goes a long way to s...

Re: Court upholds right to defend against police officer

Good, we need change from the status-quo. right now the law is far too enabled against the individual and allows far too much in the way of abuse of authority. Add in the current status-quo in regards to police "use of force" at the lethal level and things need to change severely, rulings such as th...

Re: Pulled over for speeding, Plano

I have never been asked where I'm going, but if I were I would try to think of a diplomatic way to tell the officer that information is not germaine to this particular transaction. Easy: "officer, as you are aware the law does not require me to consent to any conversations with yourself and does no...

Re: Rooftop Koreans

I was on 92nd street, between western & crenshaw & it proved the simple truth. As long as the criminals could essentially hide behind the law, if I engaged in the use of lethal force and would face literal retribution under the status-quo of the legal system. they acted as they do because they knew ...
