Re: Looking to get into Sporting Clays / Suggestions?

Browning Citori 725 or Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon are both great choices, if they fit your eye. I'm in the market for a new O/U skeet gun but I need something with a raised rib so that I'm not seeing too much of the top of the rib. I made the mistake of buying an inexpensive O/U and sold it a few mon...

Re: CHL Questions.

You may want to look at ATF Form 4473 and see if any of the questions under item 11 would make you ineligible to purchase a firearm.

Re: Scored a hunting trip. What rifle

I would take a .375 H&H and 300-grain premium ammunition. Why mess around. I would also use a rifle with a synthetic stock (but not injection molded) in lieu of wood, due to weather conditions in our 49th state. I prefer walnut furniture, but rain/snow/ice could ruin the finish.

LTC in Another State

There are still several states that do not recognize my/our Texas CHL/LTC. I was considering obtaining an out-of-state license from another state to cover as many of the states in which I cannot legally carry now. Any suggestions on which state license would get me the most bang for my buck?

Why Grandpa Carries a Gun

A friend of mine sent this to me, and I wanted to share it with you guys and gals... WHY GRANDPA CARRIES A GUN My old Grandpa said to me, "Son, there comes a time in every man's life when he stops bustin' knuckles and starts bustin' caps and usually it's when he becomes too old to take a whoopin'." ...

Re: How would you help sell hundreds of guns ?

If you had a family member who lived out of state that was a collector, owned hundreds of guns and uncounted rounds of ammo.

There is a vast difference between intelligence and wisdom. Some of the "smartest" people I know possess a foolish worldview.

Re: My Leftist Son....! ? !

That's really sad EastTexasRancher. Both of my kids (son and daughter in their 30s) are pro-2A, pro-guns, logical thinking conservatives, so I can only imagine what it must be like to be disappointed in your child. Perhaps he will come around with maturity.
