Re: Need a new gun belt
I had a couple of Wilderness Instructor belts, but the velcro wore out and the stitching (or fabric itself?) started to unravel eventually. As a birthday present, got turned loose on Tucker Gunleather's website. Ordered an HF-1 with retention, and some decorative flair, along with a gun belt. Wow. J...

It *is* significant that they're also talking about actively promoting shooting - clubs, ranges, etc!

Re: Huge changes to Puerto Rico
Who wants to fly over there and be a test case, see if any of the local law enforcement have been notified about the changes in the law?

Huge changes to Puerto Rico
Reciprocity with all US states & territories, shall issue firearms permits, all permits (to own) explicitly include the right to carry concealed. Some additional details in the article, but those are the big items IMO https://www.ammoland.com/2019/12/gun-law-in-puerto-rico-to-respect-the-second-...

Re: TX: Houston CHL sentenced to 20 years for murdering attorney over dispute over handicapped parking spot
I broke my foot in Dec 2017, had surgery to put in a plate, and went through three months of crutches, walking boot, physical therapy. After that, I was told it was healed, but it might take as much as a year to feel totally normal. A few months later I was on antidepressants and voluntarily went ba...

Yeah... I'm dubious of how this bill would wind up being misused

Re: TX: Homeowner's gun misfires when confronting burglar
Yep, life in Houston won't be dull while he's running for mayor (and maybe, just maybe, in office?) I had no idea that this misfiring victim of a robbery, who is running for Mayor is also this guy. https://abc13.com/woman-accused-of-damaging-$300k-worth-of-art-on-first-date/2829928/ A woman who he w...

My thought as well. Tony doesn't seem the type to buy a cheap/unreliable firearm.

HPOU offices - 30.06 or nay?
Interested in going to a public event at the HPD officer's union building, 1602 State Street, there'll be a presentation about LTC laws. I looked up the address in texas3006.com and got no hits; but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask here if anyone knows if the building is posted 30.06.
thanks!
thanks!

Venezuela @ gun confiscation
I wasn't sure in which board to post this, since we don't have an 'other countries' board! https://www.foxnews.com/world/venezuelans-regret-gun-prohibition-we-could-have-defended-ourselves Digest: 2012 Chavez instituted a total ban on citizens' gun ownership. Now, the citizens realize the error of t...
