Re: Businesses that post 30.06 \ 30.07 and don't provide security??

" common sense should kick in (without being told) BEFORE you put hands/fingers under a running mower " - agree, and while anything can happen anywhere, when I walk into a Walmart, unless the store is in a REALLY bad part of town, I'm going in there for groceries or some other household stuff - as s...

If it was any place other than Kalifornia, I would think they would never win a suit of this nature.
- why wouldn't they win a suit like this?

Re: Pit Bull Attack...divine intervention

Thanks for calling out my post - you are right, and I should have been more specific with what I posted - I'm not a dog lover, and I don't know much about training dogs, or dog behavior, but just as a drug dog is trained to alert on grass or coke and such, versus avocados or hot dogs, I have always ...

Re: Pit Bull Attack...divine intervention

You’d all kill your dog if it attacked someone - yet you’re willing to take a chance that it will attack someone - amazing!

Re: Pit Bull Attack...divine intervention

I ride a recumbent trike, it's low to the ground compared to a traditional upright bike, and I've been chased and menaced up close by loose dogs several times - pepper spray used twice, gun drawn once. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't hesitate to shoot, sooner versus later - I always carry when I...

Moving my guns to a trust, but not an NFA gun trust

I'm having an attorney create a trust for my assets - house, investments, etc. - I'd like for the trust to own my firearm collection, as well - I don't have any NFA items requiring an NFA gun trust, just regular rifles and pistols - is anyone familiar with the process to move guns that I own here in...

Re: WTT \ WTS - CZ-75B high polished stainless for CZ polymer

Hera are a couple of links to two pics - the gun is 100% stock - the only issues are that the red dot on the left-hand side of the gun near the safety lever is missing - it must have come off when I ran the gun through my ultrasonic cleaner - and I put a small bit of red paint on the back of the fro...

Re: WTT - CZ-75B high polished stainless for CZ polymer

Sure I'd sell it outright - I'm thinking around $650 makes sense - I notice that you're located close to where I am - for a FTF sale, I'll sell it for $625, and I'll meet ya somewhere half way between us.

WTT - CZ-75B high polished stainless for CZ polymer

I have a very lightly used CZ-75B high polished stainless in great condition - no scratches or dings - original box and manual - CZ magazine - I'd like to trade for a new or used CZ P-07, P-09, or SP-01 Phantom - let me know if you're interested.

Para LDA firing pin safety

Hi - In most all of my 1911 style pistols with a Series 80 FPS, I've removed the firing pin safety parts (plunger, spring, etc.) and put in a spacer in place of the two lever components in the frame - the LDA uses a similar FPS approach, but it's different enough so that the same spacer probably wou...

Re: Suggestions for insurance to cover my firearms ??

Thanks for the responses so far - I guess I should expand the scope of my question a bit, adding a request for feedback from people that have had experiences (pro or con) making a claim on their firearms insurance policy - buying a policy is easy - claims are a whole 'nother deal.

Re: Suggestions for insurance to cover my firearms ??

In addition to the NRA insurance, I also saw Sportsman's Insurance Agency - they charge $1.25 per $100 of insured value - in my situation, they'd charge a bit more than the NRA's ArmsCare Plus - I read of a few bad reviews on the ArmsCare Plus, as far as actually getting reimbursed if firearms were ...
