Re: WTT \ WTS - CZ-75B high polished stainless for CZ polymer

Hera are a couple of links to two pics - the gun is 100% stock - the only issues are that the red dot on the left-hand side of the gun near the safety lever is missing - it must have come off when I ran the gun through my ultrasonic cleaner - and I put a small bit of red paint on the back of the fro...

Re: WTT - CZ-75B high polished stainless for CZ polymer

Sure I'd sell it outright - I'm thinking around $650 makes sense - I notice that you're located close to where I am - for a FTF sale, I'll sell it for $625, and I'll meet ya somewhere half way between us.

Para LDA firing pin safety

Hi - In most all of my 1911 style pistols with a Series 80 FPS, I've removed the firing pin safety parts (plunger, spring, etc.) and put in a spacer in place of the two lever components in the frame - the LDA uses a similar FPS approach, but it's different enough so that the same spacer probably wou...

Re: Suggestions for insurance to cover my firearms ??

Thanks for the responses so far - I guess I should expand the scope of my question a bit, adding a request for feedback from people that have had experiences (pro or con) making a claim on their firearms insurance policy - buying a policy is easy - claims are a whole 'nother deal.

Re: Suggestions for insurance to cover my firearms ??

In addition to the NRA insurance, I also saw Sportsman's Insurance Agency - they charge $1.25 per $100 of insured value - in my situation, they'd charge a bit more than the NRA's ArmsCare Plus - I read of a few bad reviews on the ArmsCare Plus, as far as actually getting reimbursed if firearms were ...

Suggestions for insurance to cover my firearms ??

I'm looking for suggestions on insurance to cover my personal firearms - I don't want a firearms safe(s), and I don't wanna hide them inside the wall or bury them in a cache of some sort - I just want them adequately insured. My current homeowners policy covers my firearms (replacement value) withou...

Re: Jury duty in Houston tomorrow

If given an opportunity, let them know that you are a huge proponent of Jury Nullification because you believe that the legal system has been perverted by the lawyers and judges - they should send you on your way pretty quickly.

Re: In your home with workmen present

I don't carry in my home but I have a number of guns within reach in different rooms of the house. I think the real problem with folks coming into your house to do work is exactly what you mentioned - that they, or more likely one of their friends, will return to your home at some later time to coll...

Re: Guidance regarding dog attacks

FWIW, one of the guys in our neighborhood near where the dog attack happened, passed along the following information: Worked a few years with a sheriffs dept Large dogs don't just drop i've seen large dogs take multiple body cavity hits and keep coming. Had one take a 3 rd burst and kept coming that...

Re: Guidance regarding dog attacks

I don't think I'd be comfortable using the sjambok - looks like I'd have to get closer than I'd want to, and I have some rotator cuff issues in my right shoulder (I'm right handed), and certain types of motion cause a lot of pain in my shoulder and upper arm - I ordered some bear spray with a 30' ra...
