Re: California bar shooting leaves 12 dead

Thank God the deputy didn't follow the philosophy that his number 1 priority was to go home at the end of his shift. This hero's courage and sacrifice needs to be appreciated and he should be honored greatly. May he rest in peace. He sounds like a true hero from the news reports. God bless his soul...

The reports I heard earlier (and again just now in fact) he was on the phone with her when he got the call.

Re: California bar shooting leaves 12 dead

Sheriff's news conference just now reports the shooter had extended magazines; 45 cal Glock, legally purchased; served in Marine Corp; I'm sure a lot more to come after the investigation.

Not a lawyer, but my thinking is that it would be off limits for carry while voting is going on.

Re: Calling all 1st gen m&p fs/c owners

I bought a the M&P 9c in 2009,the slide release/stop worked perfect for me, would release easily and hold open. I then bought a full size and the slide release was very hard to press down to release the slide. I was having night sights installed,so the smith checked that out too and was able to ...

Re: Armed Citizens Are Successful 95% Of The Time At Active Shooter Events [FBI]

Lets step thru this logically. Armed citizens are successful 95% of the time at active shooter events. (see link in OP) Over 97% of mass shootings take place in gun free zones [* ]Logically , it would make sense that removing statutorily off limits locations. More people carrying would reduce mass ...

Thanks for the link Flightmare. I'll definitely check it out since I like listening to podcasts while working. I live in Katy, Texas which is just West of Houston in Harris County. Does anyone know a lawyer or anyone that specializes in CHL's in my area? I may need some help applying for my CHL. No...

Re: Liberty County Building - Posted

There should be no prohibition for a licensed person in any government building or office with the only exception (possibly) being a courtroom in session. Not ...
