Another option if you want a lumber pack is to get something like aKifaru tailgunner or scout and add your own water bottle pockets and a pocket on the side to conceal a pistol.

I don't think you'll get anything that's fast to get to because of where lumbar packs ride. It will be slow to get something from your back. The best thing I can think of is to get a Hill People Gear Kit Bag. http://www.hillpeoplegear.com/Products/ ... fault.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It's zippered but you can safely leave a corner of it opened and rip it open. There's pictures on the website. Use that and then a small day pack. When I'm out in the woods I use the Kit Bag and a backpack.
