Many restaurants in Texas sell beer or wine but not mixed drinks. I wouldn't be surprised if the situation is similar in other Southern states, especially those with a 'shine legacy.

Investigators said the victim was banging on the man's door and when he opened it, the victim charged at him. Did the investigators say that or did some festering pustule editorialize that? Based on those events, it sounds like the attacker was shot when he charged into the victim's room to assault...

There have been a lot of posts here, and in other forums, saying businesses intentionally post non-compliant signs because they don't want to ban guns. They do it to make the antis feel warm and fuzzy. I reckon now we may find out if they're right.
