You snipped out the best (read most insulting to a liberal) part. Liberals despise religion and claim to be above it. The reality is that liberalism IS a religion with man replacing God.RoyGBiv wrote:QFTVMI77 wrote:There is no greater <snip> zealot than a modern liberal.

Oh, that they do. They've also had pharmacists refusing to fill prescriptions for various types of birth control. I have no tolerance for any employee refusing to do any part of the job they voluntarily signed on to do. I don't want to enforce drug laws, so I don't work for the DEA. However, if I'd signed on for the DEA and decided all the other stuff was ok but I wasn't going to enforce the laws regarding marijuana, I should be fired.cb1000rider wrote:It was a nut with an agenda. My guess is that Walmart probably has them on both sides of the issue. It was a stupid thing to do - someone made up policy. It was corrected by the manager. Dumb people do dumb things.

I think you're wrong on that one.....the not understanding policy claim is just understandable cover for denying the existence of a rouge employee. This is not the first time anti-gun nuts working at Walmart have been in the news. A while back there was an incident of a Walmart employee refusing to sell ammunition due to his anti-gun agenda.cb1000rider wrote:This isn't a gun issue. It's about the level of intelligence of a particular Walmart employee that doesn't quite pass the bar. It's not even based on store policy.
Does that really surprise anyone? You get what you pay for with employees.
According to the article, the manager printed the photo himself. If it was merely an employee who misunderstood policy all he'd have had to do was tell the employee he/she didn't understand the policy and tell him/her to print it. If it was really about policy, the employee would have called the manager over to clarify and defend his/her position. The policy doesn't say anything about photos with guns. Walmart sells guns. This is about an employee using what little power he/she has to impose their will on a customer.

In Dallas, no less, because, you see....this photo promotes "gang culture":

Fortunately, the store manager isn't a nut case like the employee:

It's amazing how these left wing anti-gun nut jobs won't print a photo that includes a gun in a store that sells guns, but they want to shutdown Christian bakers who don't want to bake cakes for homosexual weddings and Christian photographers who don't want to photograph them. But I guess that's because, them being morally superior and all, what they want trumps what everyone else wants. There is no greater religious zealot than a modern liberal. The puzzled pair then spoke to the store's manager who told them the employee had been misinformed, printed their photo and gave them a gift card.
