Re: It's Time for National Reciprocity
Guns and cars are a big part of asset seizure abuse. It does seem odd that a president is going after a conservative Republican, Senator Konni Burton who is only trying to defend our Texan's rights of due process. I was hoping that he would let up his bullying tactics when he became president. Trump as a citizen had little respect for property rights of others when he was a citizen, and is showing the same lack of respect as president.

Re: It's Time for National Reciprocity
I never heard of the the NAGR people. So I googled them and checked ou their stance:
These People are nuts!!
They claim that the National Reciprocity Bill is subterfuge for constitutional carry. One is a national Bill and the other is an individual state issue. They claim that the Bill introduces a back door for more intervention by the Feds for more regulations. The Feds can't pass regulations without passing a new bill. If congress becomes predisposed to pass a gun grabber bill, having a reciprocity law won't make it any easier (or more difficult).
It seems to me that the NAGR is a one issue organization, that is willing to sacrifice the rights of all of us to promote the importance of their single issue. Their website rips the NRA and is a full out attempt to divided and split the gun community using old fashioned FUD.
Definition.
FUD: fear, uncertainty and doubt, usually evoked intentionally in order to put a competitor at a disadvantage.

Re: It's Time for National Reciprocity
Seems to me that one side benefit to national Reciprocity will be that it will pressure states that make it difficult to get an LTC. States like New Jersey might have more folks packing from Pennsylvania in their state than the actual residents. .. This is going to put major pressure from the voters to give them equal rights to those of outa staters. More licensed people in the gun unfriendly states can only help our cause.
