Re: Check out this awesome GRILL...

It just says 'Image'...but we might as well show off our grills! Personally, I have the Char Griller Duo. Half Gas (convenience) and Half Charcoal / Smoker (Flavor). Nice side burner and side smoker box. :iagree: Best grill I've ever owned, and I've had a bunch over the years. Mine doesn't have the...

FW homeowner gives burglars a surprise...

Seems a local firearms instructor had his nap interrupted by a home invasion / burglary today.

Re: XS sights?

The positives: Very fast sight acquisition when used at close quarter combat distances. Just"dot the i" and you're on target. The negatives: May not be the best for long range or target shooting due to the size of the front sight, although there is a video going around the internet of an i...

Re: D. M. Bullard Holsters

D. M. Bullard is a true craftsman and his holsters are second to none in my opinion. I own two of his holsters and two mag holders. All have held up well to daily use. My next purchase will be one of his belts.

Re: Wanted: Holster for 3.5" 1911

:iagree: I now own two of D.M. Bullard's holsters for my 1911 officer's model, a "Body Guard" and an "IWB" along with an inside the waistband mag holder. David Bullard's craftsmanship and materials are top shelf, and his prices aren't bad either. And to top it off, his customer s...

Motorcycle carry

My $500 + monthly gasoline bill is starting to take a toll on the monthly budget. So, like many others these days, I'm considering parking my full size pickup and going to two wheel transportation for my daily commute. Among the things to consider, such as the traffic safety issues and fuel economy ...

Re: Rock Island 1911 Commander

I also own an Armscor gun. Mine is a High Standard Crusader Compact. It's identical to the Rock Island Compact Tactical, except for the "High Standard" roll mark. It's been absolutely reliable for me and seems to be very well made considering the price point it was manufactured to. It eats...

Re: Grip Tape...

Go to your neighborhood Academy and make a bee line to the roller skate and skate board area. You will find a package of skateboard tape - two large sheets to a package - for about $5.00 if I remember correctly. I've been using this for a couple of years now without any problems. It sticks well to t...

Re: The Real Miss America

Hmmm.........

That minigun looks more like it's mounted in an MH-60 Pavehawk than an AC-130 to me.
