Re: Arlington convention center posted?

I’m sure it’s not as it’s a government owned facility. Going there for the reptile show today, is it okay to carry? It is owned by the City of Arlington. Per the Tarrant County Appraisal District. https://www.tad.org/property-search-results/ For the address of 1200 Ballpark Way. PAGE(S): 1 Account ...

Re: My Name is anygunanywhere....

Like others, I don't know about alcohol, but after 40+ years of smoking 4 & 5 packs a day, I quit in 07. I think this was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. But by the grace of God, I am now 12 years without a puff. However, I do still get an occasional urge but it soon passes. Just know t...

Re: Husband Saves Wife

There are pictures that show three holes in the rear windshield of the robbers' Caddy, but none of the articles I have read (and I just googled this) said the husband shot at the Caddy while it was "fleeing," or even that the robbers were inside the Caddy when the husband fired. The stories do say ...

Re: Mercy Killing of Animals

Upon dispatching, one should also process and eat said animal. Not Legal. Supposed to let the game warden or sheriff deputy pick it up and take to a processor. The meat goes to various government run schools for orphans, deaf and blind, etc. I was kidding. But the warden can give you permission to ...

I read a report yesterday which said that Ginsburg informed her clerks that her cancer had resurfaced - that's awful if true: https://www.smobserved.com/story/2018/11/09/politics/justice-ruth-bader-ginsburg-will-retire-from-the-us-supreme-court-in-january-2019/3658.html I would like her off the ben...

Re: Texan Jailed After Defensive Gun Use

To answer Wildroses question why a grand jury? To me the area is mixed white and Hispanic, but the DA is white and the shooter is white. The dead man is Hispanic. This keeps it all above board and maybe doesn’t upset half his constituents. A DA can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, but the...

Re: Why Grandpa Carries a Gun

My stepfather was always fairly tough. Grew up cowboying and roughnecking. He'd put himself in the hospital before he'd let someone out work him. Then the old age does what it does to everyone. One day when he was probably 79-80 I told him, "I bet I could whoop you now if you didn't carry that pist...
