Re: Ever Eaten Raw Beef?

Yes I had Beef tar tar. But also ate Chitlins, Rabbit, Squirrel, Racoon , Beaver, and Musrat! Never had Muskrat. But I've had the rest. Squirrel is my favorite breakfast meat. Rabbit and dumplins beat chicken and dumplins any day. And Racoon is delicious cooked as a roast with potatoes and carrots,...

Re: Ever Eaten Raw Beef?

I've had Parisa a few times and really like it. But I've only eaten it from meat markets I know and trust. http://fcg-bbq.blogspot.com/2012/08/dzuiks-meat-market.html I've had Dzuik's, it was the first one I tried. The owner is a friend of a friend. And he brought some to my friend's birthday party....

Re: HB 131 - Here come "Extreme Risk Protection Orders"......

You weren't the only one quoted. You did agree with the person you quoted that said it. My point is, those that think we should lock people up without due process are promoting an even worse infringement on one's rights than temporarily taking their guns away? Also, when did we start locking people...

Re: Its Time to Texit.

This has been discussed before and I think you took a strong stance in support. As was noted in the older thread, if Texas were to become an independent country again, then there's no guarantee the U.S. would be buying our goods and services. There goes a big percentage of our state GNP. Also, Repu...

Re: Can Beto O’Rourke really beat Ted Cruz?

Spoke too soon, my sign was gone today!! During the 2012 election I had a few signs stolen from my yard. So I went to Home Depot, bought an 8x12 sheet of ply wood some t posts and some paint. I used a projector and projected the sign on the wood. I traced it and painted an exact replica. I put floo...

Yes, Democrats will win if Republicans don't vote.

Re: Early Voting

Yes, they are. I went to vote and to get there, I had to drive through heavy rain. Voters filled the court house, but to their credit, the voting officials were very, very efficient. It took me about 10 minutes (or less) to get to a voting booth. All voting were middle aged to geezers. Same where I...

Did my part.

And there was a pretty good line. I was happy to see the turnout.

Re: CA: No place but California

I've only eaten at an In and Out, a couple of times, they were good burgers, I didn't know about any "secret" menu, But I will make a point to support them. :tiphat: Just make sure you ask for the fries "well done." Otherwise, you may as well be eating Steak n Shake fries: potato strips soaked in o...

The website isn't being charged because they did their due diligence, but the man who hooked up with a woman from the site for 18+ is?

Really sounds like a set up to me.

Re: Pellet Grills

I looked at pellet grills and have decided the 22" Weber Smokey Mountain is the best option for me. It's near a set and forget it smoker while still using charcoal and real wood chunks. Besides, I already have an electric smoker and I feel the need for something a little more manly. Maybe some day ...

Re: Pellet Grills

A 40lb bag lets me do at least 3 long smokes, if not 4 or 5. I haven't paid a lot of attention to it. I've played around a bit with smoking time vs cook time which has thrown the feed rate off for each one. But I've pretty much figured out how I want to do it now, so I can get a better gauge of how ...
