Re: Joe Biden

From the USA today "Fact Check"

"It was because Shokin wasn't pursuing corruption among the country's politicians."

So we should withhold all funding to the US DOJ?

Re: I said something stupid

Back in 1993 I lived in Ogden UT. I was on my way to Midas to have my muffler replaced. I had to make a right onto a road with 4 lanes going my way, and a couple going the other way. I had a clear path into the first lane, but was waiting for a car to pass that would give me the second lane. I neede...

Re: Honey Badger "temporarily" ok again

FDR tried to pack the court, but Congress refused to pass his legislation. At the time, Democrats controlled the House and Senate. Here's an article that is essentially accurate. https://www.washingtonpost.com/history/2020/09/24/fdr-supreme-court-packing-rbg-trump/ Chas. Great article. I understand...

Re: Honey Badger "temporarily" ok again

Is anyone else thinking about what happens four years from now, even if Trump wins? At some point Democrats who want to take away our guns are going to win an election. Then What?!?!?! :mad5 A 5/4 or 6/3 Supreme Court. Chas. What about 5/8 OR 6/7 Supreme Court? Could happen by April 2021 if Biden w...

Re: The growing threat from White Supremacists

That eulogy was a second time he( and Hillary) talked about the subject. I was referring to another video from the late 80's when he was Governor of Arkansas. I'll look for that on, I haven't seen it. I lived in Arkansas when he was Governor. I joked that we elected him to get him out of Arkansas. ...

Re: The growing threat from White Supremacists

Trump, when asked for the gazillionth time to denounce "white supremacy", should point out that the KKK was started by and is run by the Democrat Party and/or point out that every one of the Jim Crow laws were written, signed into law, and enforced by the Democrats. They will stop asking real quick...

Re: PAR (Private Pilot Written) Exam Scheduled

I'll start cutting the reservations down to 2 hours. If I book the reservation for 1.5 hours, I'll end up in the air for a half hour to 45 minutes. Not really enough time to work much on slow flight and ground tracking maneuvers. I've printed off the King school's syllabus, and will start taking the...

Re: PAR (Private Pilot Written) Exam Scheduled

I booked 3 sessions next month, 3 hours each. Which will equate to about 6-7 hours in the air next month.

Re: PAR (Private Pilot Written) Exam Scheduled

Congrats. But I have to tell you, 2-3 hours a month is not enough to retain training from lesson to lesson. You will spend time relearning doing that. I understand your, but also temper your expectations. i completely agree. You need to fly at least 2-3 times a week. I'm going to be flying 7 hours ...

Re: PAR (Private Pilot Written) Exam Scheduled

CONGRATS Clarionite!!!!!! Now get to work and practice your maneuvers trying to make them as precise as possible, I have the ACS, and am going through it. My instructor really hasn't followed it, and makes it hard for me to figure out where we are and what's next. I'm going to have to start bringin...

Re: PAR (Private Pilot Written) Exam Scheduled

I passed the written yesterday. Now on to lots more flying. Congrats! Now on to getting your hours and prepping for your check ride! I have registered for an accelerated two weeks in NC in March. I've prepaid for 42 hours of flight and one on one work with the instructor. Another guy on a student p...

Re: PAR (Private Pilot Written) Exam Scheduled

Good luck! After years of regretting that I haven't gotten my PPL when I was in a position to, I've finally decided to start working on it. Studying hard, then when I'm back in the USA work on medical then written then probably an accelerated flight training regimen. Let me know when you're ready, ...

Re: PAR (Private Pilot Written) Exam Scheduled

Good luck and don't over think. My own PP written was almost 50 years ago, but since then I have instructed several students prior (and after) taking it. The Designated Examiner will probably ask about areas you missed, but will also ask quite a few other questions. FAA has specific emphasis areas ...
