When I first initiated getting a CHL, my primary motivation was to be legal in carrying in my boat while fishing. Since joining this wonderful forum, I have seen the error of my original intention and have carried 24\7 since recieving my plastic.

Congrats! I just returned from Great Lakes, IL where i watched my youngest son graduate from Naval boot camp (it is a great experience if you can make it). My other two sons have or are serving in the Navy as well.
