Re: Been too long

Welcome back, I've had similar recurring problems with the logins also. Usually after the forum has been down for maintenance or something. Sometimes it takes a few days for the stay logged in function to work.

Re: Keep an eye on Virginia

Remember that northern and eastern Va. is populated by a lot of D.C. "swamp dwellers/workers". Some may be afraid of a swamp drain and voted to stay in place.

Re: Outdoor private ranges like Mission 160

Interesting. I live about 10 miles from there, use that highway a lot, but never even heard of it. I don't remember ever seeing that gate pictured on their facebook page. The only other one that I am familiar with around here is a very small pistol range in Edhube. There are more but I can't name th...

Makes one wonder----- were there any Ukrainians on board with ties to the Biden or Clinton families? Not accusing, just wondering.

Re: Church Meeting on CHL Topics

I assume that you will know your congregation, but I would ask to see carry IDs of each participant. Also ask the training background of each. Of course you may have some non carrying deacons or such that will want to be involved in the procedures and decision making. If you have a peace officer in ...

America will be haunted by Trump’s scandals for a long time.
These jerks refuse to see the truth. The rationale this moron used is based on innuendo and hearsay.

Re: TX: Insane truck crash video in Lubbock Co.

Why would you be driving that fast in fog? There is no good explanation. I've heard drivers chiding others on the CB about driving too slow in adverse conditions. I got passed repeatedly in heavy fog, heavy rain, and snow packed roads. I mean they were EXCEEDING the speed limit in those conditions....

Re: TX: Insane truck crash video in Lubbock Co.

In my opinion as a retired professional driver......That driver was going too fast for conditions. The fog in the background cut his reaction time and he didn't adjust his speed.

The 2A and self defense responses are both yes's. Add 1% to the yes. Probably added to skew the percentages.

Re: Hood County 2nd Amendment Resolution

Add Fannin county to the list, too. https://issuu.com/tmeek/docs/12-3-19_fannin_county_leader Saw that in the paper. It's a feel good good move in my opinion. It's a resolution not an ordinance so it has no enforceable wording/code. I do like that the county commissioners have gone on record for us...

Re: Home Carry?

My carry stays on my person or under my control at all times. All others are locked up. My house is for sale so we have to keep everything secure and out of sight. Also the recent full time addition of my teenage grand daughter to my household has caused major adjustment to other firearm availability.

Re: Any bank recommendations?

Haven't been inside a bank in more than 5 years since switching to USAA. Every thing is done on-line. They pay ATM fees when you use another bank's ATM. I understand that the head office in San Antonio is posted though. Never been there. They are great to work with over the phone.
