Re: Waiting on plastic.. debating on what to carry?

Well I went to Cabelas and got my hands on many concealable guns. Then went to ShootSmart and shot a few. Still like the XD but now I'm going with the 9mm. Lighter, more rounds and cheaper to practice with. Anyone have holster recommendations?

Waiting on plastic.. debating on what to carry?

Need some good ideas on what to carry. I'm 5'10 200lbs and would like to carry OWB. Don't really want to spend more than $600 on a handgun. I was looking into getting the XD40 3.1". Any thoughts?

Re: Another Newbie

So after the class is complete, it takes a few months to process before you can carry? Or you can carry right away just waiting on other paperwork?

Texas CHL class is a minimum of 10 hours including range time (by law)
Some locations do it over 2 days, some do it in 1 full 10 hour day.
Wow I thought it was way longer than that.

Re: Another Newbie

Ya I hear that's a good place. I will have to check it out when I'm able to take classes. How long does it usually take to get all the classes done?

Another Newbie

Hey Guys just wanted to throw this out there and see what kind of response I get. I'm 20 year old student at UNT and in 6 months I'll be looking to start my CHL classes (found out I can take them prior to turning 21). Any advice y'all can give me before I start or steps I need to take? Also any ...
