Well I went to Cabelas and got my hands on many concealable guns. Then went to ShootSmart and shot a few. Still like the XD but now I'm going with the 9mm. Lighter, more rounds and cheaper to practice with. Anyone have holster recommendations?

Waiting on plastic.. debating on what to carry?
Need some good ideas on what to carry. I'm 5'10 200lbs and would like to carry OWB. Don't really want to spend more than $600 on a handgun. I was looking into getting the XD40 3.1". Any thoughts?

I'm trying to apply online and when it asks to select my application condition and the only selections are activity duty or veteran.. Where do I select the standard condition?

After the class, your paperwork (on-line app) is sent to DPS, they review, perform the background checks and whatever else they are required to do. If all goes well, that is, no issues on apps, background check, etc. you will be issued a license to carry concealed. You cannot carry concealed, on or ...

So after the class is complete, it takes a few months to process before you can carry? Or you can carry right away just waiting on other paperwork?

Some locations do it over 2 days, some do it in 1 full 10 hour day.
