Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry

Sooo; just to update anyone interested in the depth and effectiveness of glocks anti corrosion treatment; I have just “tested” it a bit with my “equinox” g27. I went to Destin Florida with the family, wow, what a beautiful beach. Three days on the beach. Glock went with in the beach bag all days. Wh...

It's a conspiracy. The 9th doesn't want to be the circuit that sends up a case that allows a Kavanaugh - Gorsuch court to declare state level gun control laws to be unconstitutional.
Probably right on.

Re: Friend with Alzheimer's

My father in law is 80 and showing signs of dimentia, not as severe as Alzheimer’s but he has “moments.” We had an incident with him a while back and I had to set some ground rules. It was difficult speaking to him about this; it felt disrespectful but having children involved, I didn’t think I had ...

I've got an old 34 that we sandblasted the black off. The sights will rust long before the slide ever will.
That’s good to hear!

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry

https://imgur.com/a/jcaUGtY Sooo I had developed some odd asymmetrical ware on my old g27. Well; of all my pistols this one is one which I will always have and I don’t mind “customizing” it a bit. I gave it a bit of a rub on the slide. Not too deep so that it removed the carborizing, don’t want rus...

Every one I have cause the 2nd amendment says I can have them and there is no other country that let's us have the freedom to do so.

Happy birthday America and God bless the men that fought to found her and the ones that continue to keep her free.

I have 2 - a Remington/UMC 1911 made in 1917. And my M1 Garand made by International Harvester. What's more American than a M1 built by a tractor company? :patriot:
That would be like an Italian tractor company thinking they could build supercars!!...oh wait.

Re: Your most “American” gun on this 4th of July

For me- it's my STI 1911 Not a BBQ gun in the traditional sense but since I carry it often and I BBQ often- it's a workhorse BBQ gun! And since it's not plastic, it won't melt next to the fire! "rlol" :biggrinjester: :fire :fire :fire :fire Haha. True. I really like those STIs. May “need” one...

Re: Your most “American” gun on this 4th of July

The most American pistol I own is my 1911 My BBQ pistol today is my Smith and Wesson model 642-1. To me the J frame is iconic because of its history. It has been carried by more people and used more times to defend life than any other carry gun. And Smith and Wesson is truly American. I am proud to...

Re: Your most “American” gun on this 4th of July

https://i.imgur.com/3G4Utdg.jpg I love my MK 25. Although I was a destroyerman in the Navy; I was not quite SEAL material. I don’t know if it gets more American for me than the US Navy SEALs. This pistol imo just Oooozes freedom. Oh; and it is definitely my best shooter as well. It is my only pisto...
