Re: Glock’s New G43X and G48 Pistols

I’m sure that they are great guns; just not for me. I prefer my Glocks “chunky.”

So I mostly did this as a joke for a thread gone off the rails about the usefulness of red dots on pistols on another forum...

but now that it's together it's kind of growing on me.

If I can find a holster for it anyway.

Hmm. Interesting. I kinda like it.

Re: Switching to wheel guns this year

https://i.imgur.com/wFVHLfM.jpg I once had a 638 that I really loved. Someone did me a favor and they really loved it too so off it went. It went to a good home. Recently I acquired a grail gun of mine in the 360pd. I will now likely have the hammer bobbed with just enough to get ahold of if I shou...

Well...we let army win every now and then. I mean in football; I’d never let my buddy outshoot me. Lol.

Re: Happy Hanukkah

Having grown up in NYC on "Lawn Giland," in a Jewish family, there were two fabulous Jewish Delis in my neighborhood. Alas, that was the '50s and they are gone now. Are there any true Jewish Delis anywhere in the DFW area? I'd pay big money for a big fat potato knish, and a "real" hot pastrami on r...

Navy vs Army

https://i.imgur.com/bkXhw0Q.jpg One of my oldest dearest friends and I spent a great day at the range the other day. I was a sailor and he was a grun...soldier. He recently acquired a commemorative M17 and I have my MK 25 so we had a little Army/Navy game of our own. I love the way the pic looks li...

Re: Sig 365 question

You guys realize that Keltec made a gun that is basically the same size with the same size capacity as the P365 almost 20 years ago in the Kel-tec P11, right? We can argue that the Sig is the better made gun, but they were not the first to market a pistol of this size with a 10 round magazine. True...

Re: Sig 365 question

I am Glock guy but am also an engineer. Sig was the first company who actually designed a near single stack pistol based off the geometry of the cartridge, instead of just scaling down one of their full size handguns, in order to maximize capacity - and a 10 round capacity, the same as my chubby G2...

Re: Sig 365 question

I will say that I have let some pistols go in the past, some I don’t miss and some I do...my Glock will always stay. I find its “stability” comforting...in some ways its simply being present in my safe affords me the liberty to experiment with other makes and models. A Glock to me is almost akin to ...

Re: Sig 365 question

I have heard that sig has redesigned the striker assembly in the p365. They have thickened the portion where the tip meets the body of the striker. Mine is an October 2018 made unit and appears to have this redesigned part. Sig has stated that the initial return rate of p365s for striker breakage wa...

Re: On the fence? A little size comparison p365 vs p938 vs g26/27

I inherited a P938 from my wife when she went to a revolver. My intentions was to sell it as I am not much on 9mm for myself. I have actually always been a .45 fan and thats what all but 1 (now 2) in my stable are. The 1 that wasn't was a P3AT that I used for pocket/bug carry. However, after shooti...
