Re: Dems threaten SCOTUS over upcoming 2A case

As was stated earlier, manipulating the number of Justices is how they can remake the court. Here is some quick history (from https://www.history.com/news/7-things-you-might-not-know-about-the-u-s-supreme-court) 2. There haven’t always been nine justices on the court. The U.S. Constitution establis...

Re: Dems threaten SCOTUS over upcoming 2A case

Democrat presidential candidates and senators this week renewed their threats that unless the U.S. Supreme Court issues liberal rulings on the Second Amendment and other issues, Democrats will fundamentally restructure the nation’s highest court, a shocking threat to judicial independence not seen ...

Re: How Google is rigging elections against our 2nd Amendment Rights

There was a very interesting article in Wired Magazine (which I don't normally read) that discussed some interesting people that worked for the Olivetti company in Italy. You may remember Olivetti was once one of the key tech companies in the world. These guys were interested in how to manipulate th...

Re: Post Mortem

An accomplishment I didn't see posted already: All the bad bills that didn't pass. There was a fairly lengthy list as I recall. Good defense is also good play, just not as spectacular as good offense. I didn't rob a bank today. Where's my trophy? I think you missed the point. It takes action to blo...

Re: CC question towards mall policy?

Do stores need to individually post 30.06 or 30.07 signs, or does the whole private property ‘no firearms’ cover everything? To cover this part of your question. The whole mall can be posted if done correctly. That would cover entry into the building and therefore any stores within the building. If...

Re: CO: Injuries reported, 'unstable situation, shots fired' at Colorado school

Several news sources ran articles reporting that students walked out of a vigil held to commemorate fallen student when politicians took to the stage. "Students in Colorado stormed out of a vigil Wednesday night for the victims of this week’s school shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch after two ...

Re: SB 772 - Lack of 30.06/7 signs cannot be entered as evidence in a civil trial

I don't understand the intent or purpose of this proposed legislation. Just pure speculation here. It's almost as if it is a way for a business to hide the fact they are a gun free zone in the event that something happens. I suppose this is in response to the bill that would reduce/remove liability...

I wonder if he had a "misfire" or if he "fired and missed".

OR: 5 round Mags and 20 round/mo limit

Someone sent me a note about a bill being proposed in Oregon: SB-501. You can see where this goes when liberals have more control. It's not just banning purchase of mags with more than 5 rounds but banning possession. Ban magazines that hold more than 5 rounds. Limit ammo purchases to 20 rds/month. ...

Re: TX: You don't pull your gun because someone eggs your car.

According to the DA, the guy didn't just pull his gun: "He pulled out a firearm. He fired shots at these kids." He didn't say how he knows this, if it was testimony from the kids or other witnesses.

IL: Chicago Woman/CHL shoots would be robber

I was surprised to read about CHL in Chicago but it seems a woman / CHL holder at a bus stop shot and killed would be robber. In the video they showed, there was a short interview of a lady in a convenience store across the street she was supportive of the CHL with the comment "that is the thing to ...

Re: HB 131 - Here come "Extreme Risk Protection Orders"......

Other arguments have been made here already. The one word in a phrase that jumped out to me is here: Art. 7C.06. CONTENTS OF PROTECTIVE ORDER. In a protective order issued under Article 7C.05, the court shall: (1) prohibit the person who is subject to the order from purchasing, owning , possessing, ...

Re: FL:Mass shooting at Madden video game event

https://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/08/26/mall-jacksonville-shooting-gun-free-zone/ Mall was gun free. Florida doesn't have an enforceable sign like 30.06. Signs don't apply to CHL. At least that's my understanding. https://www.gunstocarry.com/gun-laws-state/gun-laws-florida/#fl-laws2 The...

Re: FL:Mass shooting at Madden video game event

Let me guess, gun free murder zone! GLHF Game Bar. Sounds like a gun free victim zone. That’s where it sound like the tournament was and the video where you see them playing and hear shots in the background however; according to the article the shooting was “inside one of the restaurants in the Lan...
