, sale of a firearm to an illegal alien makes you a criminal.

Re: HB 516 - No liability if you DO NOT post 30.06/7 signs your property

WAIT A MINUTE! We (meaning LTC and responsible gun owners) aren't the issue! We're not going to be the ones "shooting the place up" so whay is there a liability issue? IF as an LTC I have to disarm to do business I expect THAT business to provide me with reasonable security from the people that don'...

Re: Met Barney Fife and Andy Taylor in OKC...

Way to stay cool under someone else's pressure! (Maybe borderline paranoia and panic would be a better descriptor) Barney does need a wee bit of retraining, and something tells me that Andy will be the one to do it. My hat's off to you for doing what you do daily, but even more so for helping clear ...

Santa's Wonderland, College Station 30.06?

I have to help escort a large group of our close friends' children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to Santa's Wonderland in College Station. Their policies posted on the web state no firearms but I cannot find anything on them on TExas3006.com. Does anyone know if they are posted or do they ...

Don't kid yourself. They see the real problems but fixing real problems won't advance their agenda.

No, Beto is the "shining star" and his views on everything are even scarier than her uneducated-uninformed grandstanding!

Re: Alligator defense question

It may be the law, but it gets a big fat FAIL for common sense and intuitive deduction. The federal government backed off firearm restrictions in National Parks which are arguably more sensitive environments, but left the same provision intact for the surfaces of water bodies? How does that reflect...

Re: Alligator defense question

I don't know if any "carry-able" pistols would have much effect on a large gator. However the noise might scare them off or at least delay their approach until you can get out of the area. https://www.smith-wesson.com/firearms/model-460xvr Darn, need to buy a new gun for 'gator protection'... lol :...

Re: David French - Why I carry a gun

It was a good article until it got to support for red flag laws. To protect ourselves from being denied our rights when we have done nothing wrong, we need to find a way to move the dialog in this direction, instead of just opposing laws that only affect the good guys. I fully agree that we need po...

Best suggestion, a jon-boat, or even a canoe, would be less likely to tip over but you have a bigger problem. L...
