Legal enough to get the ticket, and to make me take my business elsewhere.

This bill would apply to everyone, not just LTCs. I have a big problem with it being anything other than a Class C, unless someone is injured, or the drunk is waving it around. I also have a problem with exempting anyone; apply it to everyone or no one.

Re: Shoot Point Blank in Cypress

I went in the other day. Very nice range! They are running a $5 range fee special right now and offer monthly packages with discounts for Military (active or retired) and first responders! Definitely worth a look if you're in the area. FYI, they are open for business but their grand opening will be ...

Maybe we need him to focus on not having the Houston cops shoot up the wrong house on a botched drug raid and get their warrants right.... :bigmouth Scott, I know which incident you talking about, but did I miss something? I thought it was a valid warrant and raid. :headscratch I thought there was ...

When I go to vote, I vote for folks to REPRESENT me in Government. I am more than happy to lead myself, with God's help. I do NOT vote for anyone to lead me. Mr. Acevedo and his ilk who believe that officials are elected to be leaders (delusions of grandeur, much??) can pound sand.

Re: Magnetic Vehicle Mount

 r I have one in my jeep mounted low on the bottom edge of the console. Black gun against black carpet it is nigh invisible. Jeep is lifted and rides rough pistol has never moved. Those magnets are pretty strong. Get a new instructor. Problem is the police don't know the law... "Nigh invis...

Re: OH: School kicks SRO off campus for writing principal a ticket

Either way, it just screams of entitlement. Especially if the SRO asked you to not park there on several occasions, and you do it anyway. None of us would have gotten that verbal warning courtesy. THAT I agree with! The school official was given every opportunity to change their behavior and didn't...

Re: Magnetic Vehicle Mount

I tend to agree with SoccerDad. The key here, and I think this is (maybe) what your instructor wasn't clear on: As an LTC you can carry openly in a belt or shoulder holster. Under the Motorist Protection Act (MTA) you can have a forearm in your car even if you do not have an LTC, BUT, and here's the...

Re: Jack Hinson's One Man War

I read that a couple years ago, it was an interesting story. He was a good marksman with that custom rifle. :thumbs2: The topic is from 2010 and bumped by a one-post-wonder with a spam link. At least they picked an interesting topic. Ameer, MVRMAX has been on the forum a lot longer than you have...
