Re: OK - graphic gunfight video, liquor store

Looked like the one lady had a j-frame which appeared to be out by the end of the fight. The other lady's gun looked like a 380.

It looked like the BG had a shotgun when he first came in but lost it when he went outside and came back in. He also looked like he was hyped up on something. Given the ...

Re: School Mass shootings: US vs LB

Lebanon actually has a murder rate a little higher than the US. Lebanon's rate is actually the median rate across the world.

Apparently other Broward County Deputies also sheltered outside and didn't go in the building. https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/23/politics ... index.html

That Sheriff really needs to resign!

I tried to vote on all of them. Not sure whether or not I succeeded on the first one.

Re: Should I conceal carry a .22 pistol?

Accuracy is far more important than caliber. A hit with a 22 is more effective than a miss with a 45.

As far as reliability, 22 rimfire is less reliable than centerfire ammo. Having said that, I shoot a lot of 22 and have found its reliability depends a lot on the quality of the ammo and the gun. I ...

Re: Double-stack 9mm with the thinnest grip

You can use full sized M&P 9 mags in your M&P9c. With a spacer on the full sized mag, you get 15 round and basically a full sized grip. That's how I carry my M&P 9c. I shoot it a lot more accurately with the full sized mag.

The Russians were aiming to sow discard. Given the Democrats response to Trump's election, resistance and collusion, I would say Putin should be ecstatic about the results.

Fix NICS Bill

What is the NRA's position on the Fix NICS Bill proposed by Senator Cornyn? I looked on the NRA-ILA site and couldn't find anything.

Re: FL: Active shooter at high school in South Florida

The Sheriff just stated that the school had one armed security guard for a 45 acre, 3000 student campus. That is totally inadequate.

The hero coach was also acting as an armed security guard. He ran to the sound of gunfire. If he had been armed and trained, he probably would have been more ...

Re: Let's Really Protect Our Schools

Great idea Charles. We need to require schools to harden themselves including locking all doors, limiting entrance during school hours, installing video surveillance on all entrances and ensuring sufficient armed security, either paid or volunteer in all schools.

In Parkland, the shooter entered ...

Re: FL: Active shooter at high school in South Florida

We really need to harden schools. Doors need to be locked to the outside, security guards need to be armed and staff who are willing to be trained and carry concealed must be allowed to do so. This is the only way to stop or limit school shootings.

We have known this since at least Sandy Hook. The ...

Re: Remington Bankruptcy

I read that Cerberus saddled Remington with a ton of debt when they bought them. That isn't unusual in takeovers although it is usually the selling company that saddles the buying company with the debt. In any case, it makes it very difficult for the company saddled with the debt to survive.

Re: The keeper.

I don't sell very many of my guns either.

The two I probably will never sell, I inherited from my Dad when he died when I was twelve. They are a Browning 16 gauge semi-automatic shotgun and a Remington .22 pump. I learned how to shoot with those guns and have toted them all across the country in ...
