Who’s gonna pay?
1. Individually involved officers? That’s not acceptable. Require each officer to carry a form of duty insurance, like doctors malpractice? Except officers don’t earn $$$$.
2. Police department? Well actually that’s you & me via the taxes. From police dept budgets? Now we are ...

Re: 1911 Carry
Thoughts from anyone here who carries a 1911 5 inch single stack 45 IWB. Just trying to figure out if it is worth trying to do before I spend any money on a holster.
I carry govment size 1911 IWB (when I don’t carry my G17). I like my holsters to have a thumb break with a strap across the frame ...

Re: thoughts on the future of political parties
I'm sure I'll go back to my normal self, but right now I'm implementing the "Head in a hole" strategy..... I've stopped all political and most news feeds from my apps that I use on a daily basis.... I've given up most online sources such as Yahoo, etc..... Yesterday I even removed Fox from my News ...

Re: NY State Pistol and Rifle Association chairman says 80% lowers should be registered as firearms
In an effort to out do his liberal colleague, the vice chairman countered with, and I quote, “I think 0% lowers should be registered. All ingots should be serialized.” Later he expanded on the proposal that any dreams of AR lowers must be registered.

Re: Rep Elijah Cummings dead
Cummings was a fanatical supporter of governmental support of killing babies and using the power of the government to ensure that the killing of babies continues. Gowdy's comments are seriously misguided. Cumming's character in public says all you need to know about him. Little babies are ...

Don’t know why the farther went back to record with his cell phone. You got your kids, now get your tail inside, and call the police. That made no sense to me. He almost was murdered.

Re: TX: Ankle monitors can be cut off, who knew?
It's too late for me to find the article I read on this to provide a link.
There are a lot of people running around with ankle monitors on. But there are not always sufficient authority people MONITORING these ankle monitors.
One may assume that there is some sort of well-staffed control room ...

So rule of thumb is one should always call 911 immediately when in a situation as such? What would you tell the operator? Would you tell them that some bo-zo is trying to run me off the road and I have my firearm out? Just curious

Re: Road rage
We were coming through Waco on a heavy traffic Sunday afternoon. I was driving a 36 foot RV pulling a car. Because of the size of that combination, I have to look far ahead. I saw 8 cars lining up to come on the entrance ramp near where the Burger King was on the South side. I signaled and moved ...
