Re: shot show 2016

I like everything Leatherman! I still have and carry and old Super Tool 200 everyday at work. I have the MUT in my get home bag. I had a Wave :thewave that somehow mysteriously disappeared while camping with my son's Boy Scout troop. :???: But I will replace it soon. My son carries the Sidekick and ...

Re: California Wants to Ban Encrypted Smartphones

And yet that legislator continues to conduct secret deliberations in executive sessions, and I bet he encapsulates his mail in opaque envelopes - all a sure sign he's hiding something! Best of all, I went to his campaign website and clicked on the "donate" button. Don't worry, I didn't send a dime....

Re: Arrested for Window Tint...Include disposition?

Sorry I hate to beat a dead horse, but did the officer have a light meter to check your window tint? It must allow at least 35 percent of the light in on the front passenger and driver's windows. It can be darker on the back doors and rear window if you have exterior rear view mirrors. We never even...

Re: I got a 30.06 sign removed!

I would not want a letter out there that a district attorney might use someday to show that you are a "vigilante". I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6. I don't think it will matter if there is a letter out there or not, just being a LTC holder will be all the ammo a bleeding heart libe...

Re: Wife getting on board.

Great success story and thread!! :clapping: My wife was unsure as to why I felt the need to obtain my CHL and then why I felt the need to carry all the time. She has her own M&P 9 that she enjoys shooting on occasion, but was never fully on board with carrying until some of the more notorious shooti...

Re: UNT Campus Carry Draft Policy

Section VII B 2 really concerns me. They're saying that the Police Chief can ban legal carry "upon receipt of credible information of imminent injury to human life or destruction to university property." That seems counterproductive to me. Yeah I also don't understand the portion where it says carr...

Re: Ex- marine

Justice moves slowly sometimes. I'm sure they will be charged with varying degrees of criminal culpability once the investigation moves along. Charging someone with capital murder before all of the facts are in, could result in dismissals of any charges. By law everyone involved is as guilty as the ...

Just a thought, why is this story originating from the U.K.? I haven't seen it in any American papers, or on the news.(admittedly I don't watch a lot of network news) I guess we wouldn't want to embarrass our fearless leader when he's doing everything he can to keep guns away from criminals Huh? :ro...

Re: Gun Control Groups Say Bernie Sanders Is the Wrong Candidate to Support

I love it when they can't decide who is more in favor or demolishing the Constitution. I guess they will just have to get together and hit each other with signs to determine the winner. "rlol"

I'm confused though, the Brady campaign is against Sanders because he voted "for" the Brady Bill??? :???:

Re: FBI Can't Keep Up with NICS Requests

I think it is hilarious the left keeps, wanting to increase the amount of info reported to NICS but they can't admit the system is broken. How screwed up is is going to be when they have doctors reports that no one understands, with no parameters to determine if a person should be disqualified? :con...

Re: Robber killed during home invasion Fort Worth

This is the business he'd chosen! Sometimes I wonder if there ought to be criminal penalties, along the lines of the felony murder rule, for parents who fail, or neglect, to teach their children not to do these things. My children knew not to take things that didn't belong to them, and not go into ...

I'll admit I haven't always been able to make the cover of GCQ (Gentlman's Carry Quarterly) But I did order a Desantis belt to match my holster just in case there is anyone from Forbes best/Worst dressed carriers list watching :nono:

Re: Arrested for Window Tint...Include disposition?

I am far from being a lawyer but I don't think that would disqualify you from receiving your LTC. I am just curious as to what jurisdictions are actually arresting for this? We simply issued citations or warnings to get it removed. :???: Since this is a class C misdemeanor and would fall under the s...
