We received a call last light from our daughter who lives near Fischer about an incident at their home last night. Their daughters were calling in one of their cats and noticed some noise, low growls, and rustling in the tall grass at the rear of the property. They thought it was a dog and called my...

Re: Houston south quadrant breakfast

Well, my Houston friends, I am going to see how the other half live. I am leaving North Texas this Thursday morning, get to Houston, see a museum downtown or something, spend the night at a motel in/near Pearland, and I will meet with you gentlemen Friday morning at your breakfast. After the breakf...

I'm at the airport heading back from NRA HQ. It will be over by the time I get to Hobby. This will be two in a row I missed because of the NRA. I hope to see everyone next month.
PM sent regarding January 3 breakfast.

Re: The Forum lost an active and respected Member

On Thursday, Dec. 19th, we lost Twomillenium, a six year Forum Member who had made 1693 posts. John was a regular at the monthly Forum breakfasts in Pearland. He was also a LTC instructor who truly loved helping people obtain their license and encouraged all his students to get additional training....

Re: The Forum lost an active and respected Member

I am shocked and sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a great addition to our breakfast meetings and an asset to the forum and he will be sorely missed. I knew he had missed one or two due to his illness, but had no inkling it would lead to this. My prayers go out to his wife and family, as well ...

Smile.Amazon $$ to NRA

I couldn't decide whether to post in the NRA or Off Topic heading. I figured more viewing in the latter. If you use Amazon already just switch to smile.amazon.com and select donate to the NRA. This is your quarterly AmazonSmile donation notification. Your charity, The NRA Foundation, Inc., recently ...

What county? It's one think for a private company to block whatever they wish, but governmental action is censorship and possibly violates the First Amendment.

What TAM said.
Introduced to the US and promoted by Texas' own Bob Brister here's the gist from Wiki.
