Daisy Red Ryder classic BB gun $22

If you're looking for the perfect way to get a son, daughter, grandchild into shooting there's no better way than with a BB gun. I found this for my grand sons. The Red Ryder (Ralphie's Christmas Surprise) is $22 and the plain Jane model is $19.60 online. You can get free pick up at your local WalMa...

I'm presuming it was mislabeled in the Academy ad...vs. actually being .30 rimfire (is there such thing? :confused5).
Definitely a typo. There is no such thing as rimfire .30 Carbine ammunition!

Re: Shotgun suggestions

The Mossberg 88 Maverick combo with an 18" and 28" VR barrel w/ interchangeable choke tubes can be found for $225 at Bud's and other online sellers. One vendor had them at $169 for Black Friday. A small investment for a solid shotgun for a first venture in shotgunning.

Re: Houston south quadrant breakfast

Where's the next one? Being new to the forum, and just now waiting on my LTC in the mail, I think it would be good to meet some of the people from behind the screennames, and talk. I might even learn a thing or two. Welcome to the forum! We meet at 8:30AM on the first Friday of each month at Kelley...

Re: The Clinton Affair

I haven't watched it in it's entirety, but one thing they covered is the epitome of irony. David Isikoff laid out the story to Newsweek editors and owners who refused to run the story citing they couldn't be responsible for bringing down the President. Now MSM's main goal is to do exactly that, but ...

Black Friday Trijicon 10x42 Binocular (MSRP 849) $299 at OpticsPlanet

10x42 waterproof binocs. I own no Trijicon Optics, but by reviews I've read they seem to make good glass. https://www.opticsplanet.com/trijicon-10x42mm-hd-waterproof-binoculars.html?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=BFKD6PM112318&pdata=314d734c2f516e526e2f703538546b Link to Trijico...

Re: JM 1894 in .357 Mag

Older one with JM stamp on barrel. Is $600 a good price? Depending on several factors that's either a good price or an average price. No cross-bolt safety, Marlin Manufacture are pluses, and of course condition is always one on the biggest factors determining price. Gun Broker is your friend - look...

Re: Ever Eaten Raw Beef?

When I was kid my dad would eat raw ground beef on crackers with onion. He told me as a young man he would patronize a bar for lunch that offered raw ground beef as the "lunch". As a struggling veterinarian trying to start a practice with his brother who was also a vet he worked as a meat inspector ...

Re: Mossberg 20GA Shockwave $269.99 w/ free shipping

Make it .410 and I'll be interested, but not even a 20 gauge will be manageable (with that design) by me. You might be surprised. This design is much more manageable than it looks. Of course, we are all different, etc., etc. But for me, the shockwave grip is MUCH easier to handle than a pistol grip...
