Re: Out-of-state CHL Permit
You can get a PA non-resident license for $26 that will be recognized in TX. Reports are it only takes a week or two.

Re: After dark Criminal Mischief
Discussions like this remind me of how much misinformation there is out there. There is no civil liability in Texas for a shooting justified under law. Yet that canard is routinely thrown around both here and in CHL classes. Furthermore, it is our duty as CHL holders to know the laws that govern ou...

Two words... snow plow.
I know we don't have too many (relatively) in Texas, but they're like cockroaches up north.

Beiruty when you get to 92 you don't really have to be PC and don't give a rat if it offends some people out there. I just hope I can take a gun away from a 30 something when I'm 92. I already hate having to watch all the toes I would really rather stomp on than tip-toe around. Note to the bad guys...

Re: Cologne/Ether Robbery Attempt?
It will take far more than a sniff of ether to disable an adult.
I have very vivid memories of being put to sleep with ether to have my tonsils removed when I was 4 or so. If one sniff didn't knock out a 4-year-old, how much more would it take for an adult?

Re: G19 night sights?
One thing to keep in mind with multicolored tritium sites is that the colors other than green degrade (lose luminosity) faster than the green ones over time. Really? I had never heard that. I know the luminosity is provided by the tritium gas. I assumed the different colors were produced by using a...

Re: Hunter's Education Course and being a veteran
Seems like an arbitrary date. Were people born before Sept. 2, 1971 born with the knowledge of how to hunt safely? Of course we were! ;-) I would bet it has something to do with when the law went into effect and grandfathering those who had already been hunting. I'm not saying I agree... It's just ...

Re: Poll: only one defensive handgun
Another .45 ACP vote here. I, of course, chose the .40 S&W, but after shooting TAM's .45 I may reconsider in the future. Right now and for the last 8 years the .40 has, theoretically, been the right balance of stopping power and number of rounds. I started this poll because I have been carrying ...

You still can't carry in an Army Corps of Engineers area, only state & national parks.
