Your 1-page fax to Rep. Jose Manuel Lozano at 5124631765 has been sent successfully!

Lozano voted FOR SB 321. I hope he still has some common sense and votes for this one, too.

BTW, I'm not telling them my nephew is going to Mary Hardin-Baylor, just in case private universities can opt out....

Dee Margo is my representative. I already called him for campus carry. Which I think he already supports. I voted for him last election and made sure to tell them so hopefully they will take my call a little more seriously ;-)

Representative Jimmie Don Aycock, co-author of the HB 3639, took over Dr. Suzanna Hupp's district, (where I live) no doubt you've heard of her... I called and faxed, but I think he already knows how our entire district feels, we got guns out cheer in the country. ;-)

I got a chuckle from his female staffer on the phone.

I also contacted Strauss, since "THEY" are

SB 1581 (the HB 3639 companion)

Please help oppose any attempt to remove Senator Wentworth's campus-carry provisions from SB 1581 (the HB 3639 companion) Jimmie Don Aycock, an Author of HB 3639 (along with Representative Pitts) is my Representative. He took over for Dr. Suzanna Hupp, you know who she was, so you know how we feel in this District.
==================
(Strauss, Pitts, Aycock, and Hupp are Republicans ... this USED TO BE a Democrat District ... no more ;-) )

Strauss, help a fellow Republican out ...

I was just thinking if Dr. Suzanna Hupp, who Aycock replaced had still been in office and co-authored the House bill .... wonder what all the John Woods callers would be hearing when they called HER ... :bigmouth :mad5 :shock: :eek6

Heck, I'd volunteer to drive to Austin to help answer her phone "rlol" :smilelol5:

I have emailed my rep (Kuempel, a 750 co-sponsor), Pitts, Aycock, Straus, and Ogden. Next up, calls to all of the above, and a thank you call to Wentworth, too.

EDIT: Pitts and Aycock sure could use some more calls, etc., from "us", if you know what I mean... Faxes are next.

I must have been the first one to call Kuempel, because the nice young lady didn't seem to know what was up.

Thanks,

Sent email to my Rep. Burt Solomons thanking him for his support and respectfully asking that the campus-carry provision not be stripped out of the House bill.
