SPF--Two old .22LR Winchester pump action rifles DFW TX
Posted: Wed Oct 04, 2023 8:14 pm
I received these as part of an estate. (Yes, there are others, and will be posted in due time)
Did some research to identify exactly what I have, but let me state up front that I know nothing about old rimfire rifles...so if I have something wrong, please feel free to set me straight.
First is a Winchester M-62A. Wood is in pretty good shape, some loss of bluing but not rusty. Functions correctly.
Second is a Winchester 1906. Wood is in good shape, bluing is fading to a brown patina. Functions correctly.
I looked these up on various sites and see that they bring some good money, depending on condition. That said, my asking price is $400 each, and that means "reasonable offers are welcome". If my prices are out of line, please let me know--I will not be offended.
Fine print: These firearms were acquired from an estate. All were kept in a safe but none has been oiled or fired in many years (best guess is 20-30) When I say “functions correctly", I mean that the action opens and closes, trigger drops the hammer—I have not fired any of these weapons. Descriptions are as accurate as I can be, and what I believe each to be. If you find a mistake, please correct me.
email is rich at rabidjackal dot com, or pm me here.
