But, look at all the trigger fingers that can be brought to bear next week when we can all walk around with our guns out.
Too many booger hooks!

Alas that I don't yet have 125 firearms...

Ah yes, the F4 Phantom: America's proof to the world that even a brick will fly if you put big enough engines on it!
It sure was one tough bird. Some of the ones that made it home were shot up so bad you would swear it couldn't fly.

F4 Phantom - To me, the meanest looking fighter jet (maybe also the A10 wart hog) in my opinion. In the day when I was stationed at MCAS Cherry Point I loved to watch those bad boys.

Armament of the Iowa-class battleship - Wikipedia, the free ...
en.wikipedia.org3000 × 1998Search by image
USS Iowa fires a full broadside of nine 16 inch (406 mm)/50-caliber and six 5-inch (127 mm)/38-caliber guns during a target exercise.
Okay, this brings up a question I've long had about large guns, but never looked up. How are large guns classified in caliber? A 16" gun is a 50 caliber? A 5" gun is a 38 caliber?
Chas.
Topic drift throwback. Since we were talking about 16" guns, this is 26-inch thick armor from a Japanese Yamato class battleship, pierced by a US Navy 16-inch gun. The armor is on display at the US Navy Museum. Impressive!!!
