OK, I know that this isn't going to go anywhere but the fact that it is being introduced and has so much support by Senators in public gives me pause

Re: Senators = National Gun Registry
Unless gang bangers and criminals start registering their illegally gotten weapons, this bill is like so many others. It will do NOTHING to stop gun crime. Why don't these ivory tower politicians get this? Or do they and crime prevention is not the actual purpose?

They get it, just like we do... this has nothing to do with crime.03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 11:45 am Unless gang bangers and criminals start registering their illegally gotten weapons, this bill is like so many others. If it gets any real traction, I foresee a lot of fires happening in places where the ffl bound books are kept.

This.
Its about time we fully recognize that the political elite are either fully brainwashed into their 'big-gov' worldview, or are willingly taking steps towards disarmament. It doesn't really matter which scenario is reality.
Re: Senators = National Gun Registry
Under the law criminals are not required to register their illegal weapons. Registration only affects the law abiding:03Lightningrocks wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 11:45 am Unless gang bangers and criminals start registering their illegally gotten weapons, this bill is like so many others.
