I don't think Trump is playing them. I think it was just misinterpreted. The whole clip, as far as I can tell, is about keeping guns away from DV offenders (which is already in the books) with expanded background checks. Unfortunately, we don't get to see the beginning part of the video, so we don't understand the full context. We can only conjecture. But I think Trump is just telling the crazy woman on his left that she can put in any DV legislation in there too, not all the legislation.

On a side note, despite Feinstein being enemy number 1 for our 2A rights, it was kinda funny to watch her evil grin whilst reacting to Trump.

The clip is right. We have to hope Pence and others can convince him of the folly of this approach.

I voted for him as the lesser of two evils.

I'm afraid, very afraid that we're fixin' to see all (congress) who are more concerned about votes and re-election than they are about the 2nd Amendment to the constitution.

Huh, I watched it, I thought he was referring to the DV thing. None of the Republicans looked nervous, like he was referring to anything he shouldn't have been. This is the first I've seen of it possibly referring to something else.
