The BIGGEST danger is people getting in and out of their car while the pump is running. That creates more static electricity than anything else. Slide in, slide out, then the first thing to be touched is the nozzle.mloamiller wrote:I think the biggest danger at the pump is having one's nose buried in a cell phone, not paying attention to anything or anyone around you.
