The focal point for Texas firearms information and discussions
You might find this interesting, from the Austin American Statesman today. The author seems to think "stand your ground" is a certainty for Texas. I'm not sure I'm satisfied with the parameters., but advances are advances.TxBlonde wrote:Has anyone heard if Texas is going pass a similiar law to the flordia law/
Yep, me too. I get a little leary of anonymous editorials as a rule, also. But since it says "editorial board", i'm not sure where they are going with it. Except to say Terry Keel was against parts of what i would consider a thorough "stand you ground" proposal.S&W6946 wrote:Wow! Its hard to believe the Austin American-Statesman has taken a pro attitude towards the Stand Your Ground Law. Typically, that paper leans to the left.
