Surgery on Friday went well, they had to take a larger chunk of the lower lobe then they had planned.
Just got off the phone with Pops and his post-op pathology report came back.....

CANCER FREE!!!!

Hadn't updated this thread in some time. My father passed peacefully in his sleep at home on Friday morning. The cancer had come back and he opted out of treatment after several unsuccessful rounds of chemo and radiation. He had a few good months and no regrets, he was 61. He was a good man and a great dad. He will be missed. Thanks for all the prayer and support.

Sorry for you loosing your father. My father passed away Fater's Day 1986 with cancer. We will be praying for you and the family.
