Church Member is sick

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Church Member is sick

Post by OneGun »

Those that know me, know I am the Jewish husband to a Methodist woman that takes her to church every Sunday because asks me to take her for the last 30 years.

Well a member of her church has been living with Cancer for about 9 years. After chemo, radiation and several clinical trials at M D Anderson, medical technology cannot help anymore and he has gone into hospice.

I know him better then I know the other church members because our sons grew up playing hockey together and he and I spent many a blurry-eyed mornings watching the boys at the rink.

If you pray to a higher being, please include him, his wife, son, daughter and grand daughter. If you not believe, then good thoughts and well wishes.

It has been a long battle and it hard to believe the end is near. The world will be without one of those people that make it a better place to live.

Thank you from our hearts.
