Manitoba. Man woke up to being stabbed in his bedroom by an intruder who broke in. ( I don’t know that, just assumed, but they may not lock their doors at night, being in the country and all )

Fought with the man and his knife upstairs and then finally outside receiving multiple stab wounds and blood loss, finally getting the knife away from the man stabbing him 13 times and killing him.

Judge said went to far. Sentenced to five years in prison.

Even his defense attorney wanted 3 years.

I’m sure if it was a gun the intruder came in with, the home owner would have gotten life.

I don't know enough about the incident in Canada to pick sides, but Westboro Baptist Church is known for spewing hate, especially to mourners at US military funerals.

I hope good people can agree that sometimes evil people hide behind religion -- or government -- to advance their evil agendas.
