Ok, The Presidential Race was a disaster, Both Houses are more Democratic. But, it wasn't a total loss especially for us Texans,

We Dumped Lampson. in District 22.
Cornyn Keeps his Senate seat.
Pat Lykos defeated Democrat C.O. "Brad" Bradford,
We in Texas are still a free people and avoided the socialist option.
Our Guns are now more valuable today than they used to be.
We in Texas can still proudly call ourselves Red Staters. We had nothing to do with becoming an Obamanation. They can't blame us while the rest of the country goes down the tubes. We can hold our heads in in the fact that we are smarter than much of the rest of the country.

So, when the country starts going down the toilet, can we secede from the union? Maybe some of the other "red" states will join us.

That is not a topic we will discuss on this forum.

I like to look at it as though we are an example of how to make it work. And Show the rest of the country on how it should be done We will continue to succeed while the other states fail.

We in Texas don't subsidize much housing so its pretty affordable , the places where it does get expencive are in the Liberal enclaves. Where the government inerferes the most is in places like Massachusetts, California, and New york where housing is obscene.

Job growth in Texas is good, as it is in most states with no Income Taxes.

Our Banks don't seem to have the problems the East Coast Banks are having.

Here is a happy thought.

HillBill Rodam Clinton won't run for president until at least 2016. AND, only then if she beats Vice-President Biden in the primarys.

Not entirely true. Granted, the state overall went for the Republican candidates; but there are significant Democrat inroads, in significantly large areas.

It is a shame that you are right TAM but I was thrilled to see the headlines on the LDN today. Only 37% of Angelina county voted for Hussein Obama.

What cracks me up by the way, longtooth, is that it was considered bad form by liberals just a few days ago for conservatives to mention Barack Obama's middle name and they gave us endless grief about it, and now they are mentioning it all over the place. Gee, if it was wrong then, why is not wrong now? Either wrong is wrong, or it's not.

I think that, from now on, I'll call him "Barack HUSSEIN Obama." After all, I want to be in step with the winning party... :smilelol5:

Because most liberals fail to acknowledge that there is such a thing as an absolute right and wrong. It's all relative.

And I'm proud to say Austin County only gave Hussein 25%. :patriot:

Can we start deriding people who still blame racism for their personal failures or do we have to wait until the inauguration?
