Emily Miller says get it now, before they appeal. Right now can't be denied for lack of "need".

Looks difficult for just a trophy card.

They might not disqualify you for lack of need, but getting the training from and MPD certified instructor, will probably be "very difficult" to acquire. JMHO

Maybe there's an MPD certified instructor in Texas? Doesn't say what qualifies as an exemption either .

And even if it didn't get appealed, my business destinations in D.C. are federal buildings.

Even if D.C. were to open concealed carry on a "shall issue" basis, it would be more like Chicago than Dallas regarding actually being able to carry because of the Federal land. Even National Reciprocity would be of limited value in D.C. Sure, you could got to the restaurants and hotels but not many of the more popular tourist places.

Federal parks and such are permitted according to local laws. So most outdoor places would still be OK.

Actually, Chicago is more like Dallas now. I conceal carry in Cook County routinely.
