Fear of guns is mostly irrational anyways no matter where it is. I say mostly because i think it rational to fear a gun if you are looking down the business end of one.

Of course they are and of course it would not.

Even my 9y daughter understands this. She knows that my carrying a gun has not made me a violent person. She actually has a difficult time imagining anyone being afraid of me.
