Funny how the ATF has built a database of one billion records on mostly law abiding Americans and keeps them at least 20 years... but when it comes to records on their own intentional gun running to the Cartels... those criminal records they want to destroy...

Worrying about prosecutions in the failed country of Mexico seems to be the wrong reason to be against destroying evidence of crimes, when the crimes originated in the US. I suppose it was just A reason, not THE reason.
