When we get to the point that we start needing to use a walker when just a cane will longer do, I vote that becomes the de facto Texas Walker. An homage to Chuck Norris and a force-multiplier for senior citizens everywhere.
:tiphat:

But seriously, The Annoyed Man got me reading Kurt Schlichter's new novel, The Attack, and its premise and extrapolations are fresh from the news (the October 7th attack by Hamas on Israel was the basis for his imagining of the book), and frighteningly realistic in the possibilities. Especially considering U.S. Customs and Border Protection just released numbers showing that we've hit 1 million known undocumented border crossings since October 1, 2023; the fastest we've ever reached that number in history. You'll have to read the book to understand why that fits into the premise (Amazon Kindle edition $6.99 or free with Kindle Unlimited; $16.24 for the paperback: https://www.amazon.com/Attack-Kurt-Schl ... 0CR1N7R8T/. It's the #1 new release at Amazon in Political Thrillers & Suspense, and I admit I'm a tad bit surprised that Amazon doesn't seem to have tried to suppress its sales. It is definitely not politically correct in the current clime.

And it has me rethinking the possible need to mount a strong, locking box for a long gun in the SUV. Thanks a lot, TAM. :???:

I read "The Attack" after TAM's post. Certainly a feasible plot. Hopefully no bad nations (looking at you Iran) had already though about it.

A meme to keep the post "on topic" :biggrinjester:

They should be careful showing a hundred guns. I hope they don't live in Arkansas, the ATF will be kicking their door in with a no knock warrant ready to kill.

I wonder what would happen if the Arkansas AG decides the ATF committed a crime and arrests some people?

I don't see that happening, but you never know. I'd like to see no knock warrants outlawed.
