That was my thought too.

The dictionary defines a "provocateur" as a person who provokes trouble, causes dissension, or the like; agitator.

I'm gonna go with that.

There is no hunting without public land
...err hunting on private land happens all the time in Texas
by making guns a partisan issue, the NRA is making guns the enemy of half the country.
...err NRA supports pro-2nd amendment candidates from different parties.

If he looks like a provocateur and acts like a provocateur...

This guy is perfectly happy giving up your rights one bite at a time!
I say no more compromise, the opposition certainly won't!

Thanks for providing that link. It seems pretty clear that he is misguided. On one hand, I can understand - and even agree with on some level - his statements about current political divisions and their seeming intractability on BOTH sides. But, he refuses to acknowledge a root cause of that division when it comes to guns: that “compromise” ALWAYS moves the ball in the direction of more and more restrictions on gun rights. And he openly acknowledges that he has no problem with bans on standard capacity magazines.

He’s wrong.

Confirmed - he is a fudd. Take away the shotgun and his patriot self assessment and he sounds like every other gun grabber and liberty compromiser.
