I'm also a dummy.

I just read the instructions which came with the magazine, and for a nice change, the mag is disassembled from the bottom (called EZ Clean). Doh.

If something isn't working, here's the universal troubleshooting protocol:

1. Turn it on
2. Plug it in
3. Change the batteries
4. If all else fails, and ONLY if all else fails, stop and read the directions.....

I tell my wife, the directions are just for people who don't know how to do it. Usually right before I bugger something up bad enough I have to send it out for repairs.

Directions wouldn't be needed if CMC hadn't changed how to take apart a normal 1911 mag *grumble*

(That said, I do actually like how they did this)

Yep, they got smart and used the same method Tripp Research has been using for years.
