I just came across this by accident and wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with the process and results? Maybe this just appealing to the OCD in me to improve accuracy or find some other variables to "fiddle" with.
If you've tried this please feel free to weigh in. All comments welcome. I'm really curious about the results.
Thanks.

Curiosity got the better of me and last night after posting this I did the "mirror trick". I watched a You Tube video of the process and yep, I had two sets of cross hairs and made adjustments to merge them together. Went back and did it a second time to ensure I had done it correctly but, I have no idea what the results will be when I head to the range.george wrote:I have never done the mirror trick, but before I mount a scope, I count the clicks so I begin in the "center". I feel it gives me optimum adjustment in all directions. But, probably just makes me feel good.
This afternoon I'll bore sight it like I always do and try it out this weekend and re-zero it and post an update. Maybe I'm just over thinking this. We'll see.
