2008's started off with a TRADE

Post by doc540 »

My dear old dad had a Smith gathering dust in his nightstand, so I offered him a Taurus 85 and $100.

He swapped with me, but told me to spend the $100 on my wife since she's helping him get a computer fixed.

What a DEAL!

So, what does a man do on New Year's day? FLITZ it, of course! :anamatedbanana

After a quick FLITZ job:

Great way to start the new year, don'cha think? :cheers2:

I know some people who would be tickled with the "before" gun. But if you are happier with the "after" (and got to ditch a Taurus for a Smith!), that's a great way to start off '08!

Nice job, especially how the Flitz makes wooden grips look like composite.

I suggest that now is a good time to give the wife the 100 and ask her to get you some more flitz. Nice pistol and nice work on the finish.
