Stolen gun database verification?

Post by Ericstac »

Is there a way to check to see if your guns were actually imputed into the stolen gun database by the sheriff?

I have my entire collection of firearms stolen a few years ago and the sheriff says he put them in but he has failed on so many other things with the case that I really doubt they were entered. Some of the guns had sentimental value and I really want those guns back if they are recovered...

Wow, this is news to me. I've never been contacted (even though I gave all of the info). Thanks for the information. Good post. Is this information good for all police agencies (i.e. same record system used statewide or federally?)
