Even with my old eyes, on the 50 yard range at Elm Fork with open sights I could put them all in a 4 to 6 inch group. Impressed the heck out of my friend shooting his brand new AR right next to me. He said the concussion of the Mosin made his gun seem like a BB gun. :fire
Wasn't that your carbine we shot in the tactical bay at Elm Fork during one of the get-togethers? The one that would double as a flame thrower?

Yep, they multiply. Started with a M-38 carbine, then got a Finn M-39 (I think that was the designation for the rebarrelled restocked M-91s) which is probably the most accurate rifle i own with open sights. Then came the 91/30s to include a 1926 Hex another M-39 and an M-44. luckily I picked up a good ammo supply back when Century was almost giving it away

My '42 Izhevsk 91/30 multiplied into a '44 Izhevsk numbers matching PU, a '43 Tula 91/30 and a '44 Izhevsk M44. They really are awesome rifles.

I would be up for that. Of course, people might get freaked, as one of my Mosins only shoots straight (sort of) with the bayonet extended.
